A few weeks ago, we went to the Ardennen to cycle and to celebrate a small holidays together. With a group of twenty people, we stayed in a very nice holiday park in Malmedy.
Our adventure started on Friday morning, where we gathered at Enschede Kennispark at 7:45. All the bikes and baggage was transported for us, and we went by train. From Maastricht, we cycled to the location. The weather was amazing, and we were really happy we could refill our water. After 70 kilometers, we arrived at our destination. We stayed in our house with eight.
On Saturday we had good weather again, and we made a nice tour with a very cute stop at Monchou, in Germany. Luckily, we were back before the rain! In the evening, many people worked on their bikes.
On Sunday, we were less lucky with the weather. At 12:00 we realized it was going to rain. We stopped, ate a lot of pizza while we waited for the boys to come and get us. Luckily the other groups were smarter, and returned before the rain came.
On Monday, we cycled a small bit, and we made a beautiful hike afterwards. The last evening we had a very nice dinner with fries, music and games.
Tuesday it was time to cycle back to Maastricht. We made it back to the Netherlands just before the rain. We got a nice coffee and went back to Enschede.
