UTwente marathon

Last weekend, many Alohans (and association friends) had a marathon in their calendar. Not a regular one, but based on the well-known concept of the Landgoed Twente Marathon, but then with typical Aloha snacks. The marathon is completed in a team of 2 or 3 people, one person running and teammate(s) on the bike next to runner. Every 3 to 5 km there was a stop with snacks, they differed from the post training snacks like bananabread and dessert till self-baked cookies, pie, pineapple pizzas, smoothies and everything in-between. But also Pancakes at the “pannenkoekenplas” couldn’t be missed. All in all, it was a fun day running, biking and eating, topped of with some lovely sunshine. Big kudos to the organisation for creating the route and preparing all the delicious snacks
