Core training

In the winter months, there is core stability training. Core stability training is an addition to the swimming, cycling and running workouts. Doing exercises strengthens your torso muscles, reducing your risk of injury and improving your athletic performance. Your trunk muscles are the basis for all movements, when they become fatigued your posture and technique will deteriorate, increasing the risk of injuries. So by training your trunk muscles you can prevent this, and maintain proper posture and technique for longer. Besides training the trunk muscles we also focus on stability, mobility, coordination, and flexibility. This training is always on Monday evenings, instead of the swimming training that takes place during the summer months.
