34th UT-Triathlon again a succes!

Last Sunday May 26th, the 34th edition of the UT-Triathlon took place on campus. This race is organised every year and is a highlight for many of our members each year. This year students even had the possibility to claim the title Dutch Student Champion in triathlon! This honour went to Tom de Wilt in the Men’s category, whereas Geke Kloosterziel was victorious in the Women’s category.

As Aloha we were also present (mostly as volunteers but also in the race); Floor Metz claimed the silver medal in the Student Championships on the Women’s side and Ron Koomen was able to secure a good 4th place in the Men’s category.

Of course, all participants of the UT-Triathlon course also joined in the race, who all had a great time during their first triathlon! Especially the running times over 5,2 km(?) were very good after having completed the swim and the bike.

All in all, it was a very good day with a well-organised race! Hence, we would like to thank all volunteers and the organisation, and we are already looking forward to the next edition!
